- In 1841 the dormant baronetcy was assumed by JOHN EYTOUN CAMPBELL, of Eildalloig (son of Dugald Campbell, deputy keeper of the Privy Seal of Ireland), as descended from Duncan Campbell, vicar of Kilfinan, fifth or sixth son of Donald Campbell, of Kilmory, great-granduncle of the first Baronet.

- The 3rd named son,
REV. DUNCAN CAMPBELL, vicar of Kilfinnan in Cowall, was presented to that vicarage by James, Bishop of Argyll, 12 Feb. 1574; m. the dau. of McAlister, of Loup, and had issue four sons,
1. DUGALD, of whom presently.
2. Donald, who left issue a dau., FIngual, who m. Neil Malcolm, parson of Lochow.
3. Duncan, major in the army, said to have died s.p.
4. Colin, said to have died s.p.
